School Highlights

Loukoumi

On Wednesday, April 26th, Mr. Nick Katsoris, author of the Loukoumi books, visited our school and met with all our students in three very inspiring assemblies. Our teachers and students enjoyed the presentation and the discussion on kindness and the power of making a difference. All our students, from Kindergarten to fifth grade, received a signed Loukoumi book courtesy of our very generous PTA.

Earth Day 2023

On Friday, April 21st, we celebrated Earth Day by having the whole school population dressed in green and with many classes enjoying Earth Day activities. To make the day even more special and meaningful, our third graders had a successful lemonade sale to support the We4all organization in the project of reforestation of Greece. Thank you to all the volunteer moms who helped with the sale, and thank you to the third grade students for this special, refreshing treat.

We4all would like to thank everyone for helping them plant more trees in the fire affected North Evia!  $1340 was raised in total.

All Eyes on Kindergarten

On Monday, March 27th, Dr. Alina Djougarian came to visit the kindergarten to talk about our amazing eyes.  Dr. Alina taught the children about the different parts of the eye and their function.  She also spoke about different ways to keep our eyes healthy and safe.
