The first grade visited Jane’s Carousel in Brooklyn Park. The carousel that was built in 1922 overlooks the East River. After a ride on the carousel, the children spent time at the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy. Our Spyropoulites investigated the park’s rich ecology. They visited four learning stations that focused on habitats and on the animals that call the East River their home. According to the students, it was, “The BEST trip ever!”
