Earlier this month our fourth graders visited the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City. The trip was a huge success! Our Spyropoulites explored and compared wind, solar and hydropower using LEGO EV3 robotics kits. They also had the opportunity to work with mini solar panels and turbines to complete challenges, determine how to most efficiently harness and use that power and compare the amount of energy they can capture from each source. The students enjoyed themselves and learned so much all in one day!
